THE STORY
One of our client’s main concerns was the very bright afternoon glare that came in their westerly facing windows. Our client was unable to enjoy their home like usual because of this visual interference and found it hard to both work and enjoy times with their family in these westerly facing rooms. To combat this, we installed our darkest premium reflective film to greatly bring that afternoon glare down to incredibly low levels. The advantage of this Aussie Tinting film is that it prevents the glare from coming in whilst also allowing the natural sunlight to still enter these spaces, making them a lot more liveable.
Glare wasn’t the only intruder in our client’s house. On top of the extremely bright afternoon glare, they also faced strong heat entering their house from the west. Unlike the glare that was only experienced in these rooms, the heat travelled through the house, bringing the temperature up to very high levels, particularly in the summertime. When our clients got home in the afternoon, they felt very uncomfortable in their home and had to rush to turn the air conditioning on to combat the heat. With our premium reflective film installed, we were able to reduce the heat in our client’s home by 85%. This meant a lot more freedom and relaxation in their home all year round.
Although not a primary concern of our client’s, we were also delighted to help reduce the UV levels in their home. With such strong Australian sun coming in through their westerly windows, their rugs in these rooms had begun to fade. Despite the family not spending much time in these rooms for these reasons, the furniture wasn’t so lucky. Fortunately now with our premium reflective film installed, our client and their family can enjoy a cool, well lit home that is also safe for their loved ones and interiors. Talk about a double bonus!
